Meandering about town waiting for a meal opportunity to come their way, these undead cannibals are not to be trifled with. While their speed is set to one gear—slow, they certainly have strength on their side. Not to be underestimated, as they are known to quietly shuffle toward their prey, often times going unnoticed until it’s too late.
Wailers let out a spine-tingling sound, alerting other nearby infected to prey in the proximity. Some release a deep, throaty growl, while others scream at an alarming volume. Wailers can be in the form of a Roamer or a Runner.
These high-speed threats run full throttle with seemingly limitless endurance. Once prey is targeted, they charge relentlessly, stopping only to attack and feed. When no prey is in sight, they can easily be mistaken for Roamers, as they conserve their energy for the attack.
